BIO

Born and raised in Bakersfield, CA, I learned to have a creative mind at a young age. I grew up alongside creative parents, one with the talent for art and one with the talent of music. During my childhood I wanted to grow up to be an artist, so I participated in art shows and took art classes throughout high school. It was during this time that I began to love creating art behind the lens of a camera. My creative nature now extended beyond pencil and paper to then seeing a world often only seen when captured in a photograph. As an adult, my love for art has found its way into my home in the craft of creating spaces. Here, my love of being creative and my other love for psychology and human behavior work together to create spaces that not only look good to the eye but feel good in the soul.

The way color, light, and texture work together to create comfort that is both beautiful and functional is a creative outlet that I truly love and aspire to become better equipped with in hopes of showing others how to also implement these elements into their own home. As a mother, I have learned that spaces can hold more than one purpose and that designing with that purpose in mind can help affect the behavior that takes place within that space. So, if you found your way to this page, welcome and thank you for stopping by.

A home is not just a home.
Some call it by the name of their family, where roots run deep and bonds are strong.
For others, a home is their haven, retreat, or sanctuary. A place where refuge can be found.
Either way, a home is more than just a roof over head, made of wood, beams, and drywall.
A home is a place that fills the senses and nurtures the soul.
A home is a reflection of who we are, what we believe in, and who we wish to be.
